Ladies Day at Southwell Racecourse – Sunday 16 August 2026
Get ready for one of Nottinghamshire’s biggest and most stylish summer events as Ladies Day returns to Southwell Racecourse on Sunday 16 August 2026. Whether you’re planning a long-overdue catch-up with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for a standout day out, this is your chance to enjoy racing, entertainment and a lively social atmosphere all in one place.
Known as one of the most anticipated fixtures in the local calendar, Ladies Day combines the excitement of live horse racing with a fashion-forward celebration that brings racegoers together for an unforgettable summer experience. From elegant dresses and statement hats to relaxed race-day looks, guests are encouraged to make the day their own — dressing up is welcome but entirely optional.
Enjoy a full afternoon of live racing action alongside music and entertainment that keeps the atmosphere going from the moment the gates open. This year’s event steps things up with live DJ sets throughout the day, creating a festival-style energy across the racecourse between races.
After the final race, the celebrations continue as DJ Marvin Humes takes to the decks for a special live set, delivering feel-good anthems and bringing the event to a memorable close.
Racegoers can also make the most of a limited-time drinks offer, with up to 50% off selected drinks during the first hour after gates open*. Offers include selected soft drinks, lager, cider, bitter and Guinness, plus £10 off bottles of house wine, Prosecco, Champagne and jugs of Pimms.
Looking to elevate the experience? A range of hospitality packages will be available, offering everything from relaxed trackside access to more premium dining and exclusive spaces. With great food, refreshing drinks and views across the course, hospitality is ideal for groups looking to celebrate in style.
One of the day’s standout moments is always The Style Awards — Southwell’s race-day fashion competition that celebrates creativity, confidence and standout looks. Entry is simple: visit the event flower wall on arrival and have your photo taken to enter. Finalists will be shortlisted and invited for judging, with the winner receiving a £500 cash prize.
Tickets are available now, offering savings ahead of final ticket prices. Groups of 20 or more can also unlock exclusive discounts, making Ladies Day a great choice for birthdays, hen parties, celebrations or a memorable summer get-together.
Secure your place and experience a day of racing, music, style and summer celebrations at Southwell Racecourse.
