Parkinson’s Table Tennis

15 October @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

Delivered by Draycott and Long Eaton Table Tennis Club, the new sessions are designed to help more local people living with Parkinson’s to get active in a fun, engaging and social way.

No previous experience of table tennis is required, and all ages and abilities are welcome to take part.

All equipment is provided on-site and participants are asked to wear appropriate activewear and footwear, and to bring any medication, snacks and water they may need.

Relatives and carers are also welcome to watch or join-in, and refreshments are available after the session.

Table tennis is a very social activity which can have many physical and wellbeing benefits for people living with Parkinson’s, including better hand-eye coordination, improved strength and flexibility, as well as reducing the risk of falls, among many others.

For more information about the new table tennis sessions, contact Peter Konowalik on 07803 973 309 or email peter.konowalik@gmail.com.
