The pubs we’ve loved and lost in this Notts town

As pubs hope to reopen next month, after a year of lockdowns and struggles, we take a look back at the pubs we’ve lost over the years.

Many pubs have shut their doors over the years in Mansfield, with few taking their place.

Few are still standing, as they are listed buildings, and are now open as dentists or shops.

Some, however, have been completely demolished to make way for new developments, roads and more.

Have a look through the gallery below of pubs that were once social hot spots.

From The Blue Boar on Stockwell Gate that closed in the late 80s to a grade-II listed boozer on Exchange Row.

Let us know in the comment section how many you remember and the great times you once had in them.

As you plan the next big night out, beer garden trip or quick after-work pint, think about these pubs we once loved that are now long gone.
