Strengthening Racial Justice. Supporting LGBTQ+ Community. Enabling Young People in Personal Development

Join us on Saturday 8th June 2024 any time between 3.00pm and 7.00pm for an enlightening afternoon with music, art, refreshments, children’s activities, Christian corner and more. On the day we will be raising money for our mission (Racial Justice work & LGBTQ+ Community support).

Led by Trinity Lutheran Church. Pop in to St Andrew’s with Castle Gate United Reformed Church, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham NG1 5JT (Trinity’s Host Church).

We are a diverse multicultural Christian congregation, friendly people from a variety of different backgrounds, countries and age groups. Our members enrich the congregation with their enthusiasm, artistic skills and different ways of life.

Nota Bene: What does Lutheran mean? Our modern Lutheranism derives from Dr Martin Luther who was a 16th century German monk and leader of the theological and social movement called Reformation. He wanted to reform the Church, not to create a new one. He believed people should be able to read the Bible in their native languages, and not to spend money on buying tickets for salvation (indulgences). So, when Luther’s royal friend kidnapped and hid him at his castle to avoid Luther being killed, he had enough time to translate the Bible for the whole world.

We look forward to welcoming you.
