A road in Mansfield has been closed by police following a collision involving a motorbike.
Nottinghamshire Police has confirmed it has closed off Lindhurst Lane in the town following the incident, which happened just before midday on Thursday, July 16.
A police spokesperson said: “The collision was reported just before 11.55am today (July 16).
“A motorcyclist is being treated for his injuries, which are not currently believed to be life threatening.
“If you saw what happened, you should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 313 of July 16 2020.”
Traffic monitoring site Inrix is also reporting problems in the area, confirming that the incident happened near King George V park.
A notice on the site says: ” Lindhurst Lane in both directions closed due to accident, a motorbike involved between Chatsworth Drive and Berry Hill Lane.
“Traffic is coping well.
“Near to King George the 5th Recreation Ground.”
