Police have closed off a road in Nottingham after a sinkhole appeared.
There is a police presence with two vans parked up in Darnal Close today (Monday, May 31).
Pictures show the hole surrounded by tape to ensure members of the public stay away from it.
Nottinghamshire Live understands the council has been informed of the hole in the road.
Darnal Close is a residential road located near Southglade Park in the city.
Police tape and cones have been used to cordon off the area around the hole.
Nottinghamshire Police have been approached for further comment.
