A yellow weather warning for wind is in place for much of the country today (March 11).
The Met Office Strong has said to winds accompanied by heavy and blustery showers may bring some disruption to England and Wales.
There could be delays for high-sided vehicles, some short term loss of power, and disruption to transport services are likely.

However, it will remain windy and occasional showers will soon develop, turning heavy through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Showers generally easing this evening, allowing prolonged clears spells to develop, as it becomes slightly less windy. However, a few showers will continue to affect northwestern parts overnight. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
