DESCRIPTION:AN EVENING OF SPECTACULAR HARMONY\, FABULOUS ENTERTAINMENT AND FEEL-GOOD MUSIC — ALL IN AID OF THE BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION AND THE ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY.\nHearts and Minds is a very special evening bringing together some of the region’s finest voices for a celebration of music\, friendship and community. \nTaking centre stage will be the award-winning Lace City Chorus\, Nottinghamshire’s own dynamic women’s barbershop chorus\, and the outstanding Grand Central Chorus\, bringing their powerful male harmonies and infectious energy to the stage. \nBut that’s not all… \nINTRODUCING LIONHEART CHORUS\nFor Hearts and Minds\, Grand Central Chorus has created a brand-new chorus especially for this event. \nLionheart Chorus brings singers together from across the local community for a unique performance celebrating the power of singing together. This is their first appearance — and we can’t wait to hear them! \nSPECIAL GUEST QUARTET — VIDA LOCA\nAdding even more sparkle to the evening will be Vida Loca\, the fabulous award-winning female barbershop quartet. \nMade up of four Lace City Chorus singers\, Vida Loca are the 2024 Sweet Adelines Region 31 Quartet Champions and combine stunning four-part harmony with bags of personality and fun. \nYOUR HOST — MARK DENNISON\nOur evening will be hosted by much-loved local presenter Mark Dennison. \nA familiar voice and face to Nottingham audiences\, Mark has enjoyed a long career in broadcasting and entertainment\, currently presenting the breakfast show on new East Midlands radio station “Magna”. He is also a familiar presence at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest’s long-standing matchday host. \nWith Mark at the microphone\, expect plenty of warmth\, wit and audience interaction throughout the evening! \nMUSIC THAT TOUCHES THE HEART. VOICES THAT INSPIRE THE MIND.\nHearts and Minds is being held in support of two charities doing vital work for individuals and families across the UK — the British Heart Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Society.
