Give Me Moore – Gary Moore and Thin Lizzy Tribute at Nottingham Arts Theatre

7th November 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
£18 – £22

Give Me Moore brings a night of powerful blues and classic rock to the heart of Nottingham at the city centre’s Nottingham Arts Theatre on George Street. The show celebrates the music of guitar legend Gary Moore, with faithful attention to tone, touch and feel, and adds fan-favourite Thin Lizzy material that keeps the energy high from first note to last.

Across the evening you will hear the songs that defined Gary Moore’s legacy. Expect the soulful precision of Still Got The Blues, the soaring melodies of Over The Hills And Far Away, the slow-burn drama of The Messiah Will Come Again and the crowd-stopping Parisienne Walkways. The band’s focus is simple. Make it sound right, make it feel right and deliver every solo with the fire that made these tracks timeless.

Nottingham Arts Theatre is a beloved local venue in the Hockley area, known for welcoming audiences who want close-up live performance without losing big-stage atmosphere. It is an ideal setting for a guitar-led night that balances quiet, emotional moments with full-tilt rock sections. Seated theatre comfort meets the intensity of a concert, so you can take in the details and still feel the impact when the band opens up.

Give Me Moore is fronted by musicians who have toured widely and specialise in recreating the tone that fans expect. From the sustain of a classic Les Paul into hot valve amps to the touch dynamics on the quieter passages, the show aims for authenticity rather than imitation for its own sake. The set also salutes Gary’s years with Thin Lizzy, bringing out the hard-rock edge and twin-lead flair that made those songs anthems.

This date forms part of the group’s 2025 schedule and is a standalone Nottingham appearance. If you enjoy live guitar, British blues or classic rock, it is a strong night out in the city centre with an easy walk to local food and drink before or after the show. The theatre’s location makes travel simple for audiences coming in from across Nottingham and the wider county.

Doors open before the advertised start, and the show begins at 7:30 pm. Please check the theatre’s website for any last-minute updates, access information or age guidance, and to book tickets directly on the official page. Advance booking is recommended as prices start from £18 and go to £22 for premium seats.

Whether you remember hearing these songs the first time around or you found them through streaming, Give Me Moore is a chance to experience them properly in a live room. Come for the tone, stay for the solos and leave with the melodies stuck in your head. Book now and make a night of it in Nottingham.
