☠ THOSE FUCKING SNOWFLAKES (Blackpool)

Those Fucking Snowflakes are a vibrant clash of political punk, hardcore rock and math rock, a band formed as a means to scream the dread and horror faced in these confusing times of our modern society. From the current mess of the UK political system to the intolerance of, well, everything. From race and gender to such simple items as Greggs releasing a Vegan Sausage Roll, the band are shouting about it backed with a tight unique sound and occasional off kilter humour.

Those Fucking Snowflakes released their debut song ‘Stop Being Dickheads To Each Other’ in October which quickly gained a massive amount of support from Tom Robinson at BBC 6music. Tom fought hard to get an otherwise ‘unsuitable for radio’ band onto the airwaves via 6music. He even invited them down to the BBC Introducing Festival to do a quick guest spot with Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods during his panel.

The song gained a good bit of traction with the band being featured on sites from When The Horn Blows, Joyzine, Overblown and many more as well as airplay on other stations.

The band really come into thier own in a live setting though, having played over 20 since thier debut gig in April 2019, the tight and explosive live performance has gained them many new fans across the country and shows no sign of slowing up.

‘U OK Hun?’ is accompanied by the new video for the song ‘Vegan Sausage Rolls VS Gammon Faced Vampires’ featuring an angry (as usual) Piers Morgan raging against the band for consuming Vegan Sausage Rolls, only to be saved by Hugh Grant and Greta Thunberg. Like the last video it was produced again by the band themselves and meant to add a light touch of humour to accompany the violent sounds. The song itself is a rallying cry against being so intolerant and petty that you get upset about a savoury treat.

The EP ‘U OK Hun?’ is released 6th December 2019 on the band’s own label ‘The Recording Industry Is Dead, Records’
