Bentwood Chair-making Workshop

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th March 2020 10am – 4pm

One of our most popular workshops we host here at Hanwell Wine Estate, our exceptionally talented tutor will guide you through step by step to make your own beautiful bentwood chair in this two-day workshop. Introducing you to the tools and techniques required for this traditional woodcraft, you will work alongside a small group while your tutor demonstrates how to hand-craft hazel, bend and cut it to form a stunning garden seat.

All materials will be provided and the workshop includes a two-course homemade lunch served with local wine. At the end of the two days you will have created your own bentwood chair to take home with you. Alternatively, we can arrange to deliver your chair locally if transport is a problem.
For more inspiring images and our past workshops check out our Facebook page. and blog.
