Beaumond House Community Hospice, Charity in Nottinghamshire
Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients and their families living in Newark and district, an area of approximately 15 miles radius. The Charity organises regular fundraising events in Nottinghamshire and further afield.
The hospice has 4 in-patient beds for people with palliative care needs, a day therapy as well as a Hospice at Home service providing compassionate support to the community. They can also offer a Resource and Information Service based at Beaumond House, and are fully registered with the Care Quality Commission.
Beaumond House is contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, to provide a friendly ear, general information or to signpost patients, relatives and carers to appropriate resources, services and self-help groups in the Newark area.
Upcoming Events involving Beaumond House
Beaumond House will be getting in the festive spirit this Christmas and will be at the Newark Light Switch on, on Sunday 24th November and the Newark Christmas Market on Saturday 14th December. See more abour=t both events at Beaumond House Festivities.
They will be selling raffle tickets for a car raffle at both events where you can win a car for just £1! As well as the Christmas events, tickets are available from reception at 32 London Road, Newark, and also at their Newark shop on Stodman Street, the Southwell shop on Queen Street and also at Pratt & Gelsthorpe.
Light up a life for someone you love this Christmas – you are welcome to attend the Light up a Life events, which will be held on Tuesday 10th December 2019 at Southwell Minster and Thursday 19th December 2019 at Newark Parish Church (see more details for both events at Beaumond House Light up a Life).
